Hey Everyone!
Super Bowl Sunday is almost here! It's estimated more than 110 million people will watch it on TV, and millions more sports fans will listen to it on the radio, stream it live, or watch online sports commentators and highlight videos. If you're having a Super Bowl party, going to one, or just going to enjoy it at home, here are a few tech tips that will give you maximum enjoyment out of the game.
1. Get The Right TV. It's not really the Super Bowl without a big-screen TV, right? While stores and online retailers cut prices before Christmas, they also cut prices in the days leading up to the Super Bowl. They are on sale just about everywhere, so check your favorite stores and online retailers. So what brand of television should you get? My recommendation is the Samsung series of Super Ultra High Definition TVs. They offer curved and flat screen 4K televisions of all sizes. With their Quantum Dot technology, you're guaranteed to get the best picture to enjoy the big game.
2. Get a HD Antenna. If you think you have to pay big monthly bills to watch the Super Bowl in HD, think again! If you are one of those folks who have cut the cord and ditched their cable company, you can watch the Super Bowl in full 1080 high definition, using an HD Antenna. RCA offers a full range of HD Antenna's from $15 - $30. You can mount them on a wall or place them on a table top.
3. Watch the Game via Live Streaming. This year, FOX will televise the big game, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman delivering commentary and play by play. If you will be on the go during the game, you can stream it online at Fox Sports Go and best of all it'll be free. That's right, no need for a pay-tv login this time. More than that, you'll be able to watch via Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast and Xbox One in addition to Android, Fire tablets, iOS devices and Windows. Even if you're without a cable subscription or a means of watching over-the-air TV, you'll still be able to catch the big game wherever you are.
4. Keep Up With the Game from your Favorite Mobile App.
In addition to watching the Super Bowl and chatting about it on social media, you might want to check out these smartphone apps.
Live Odds allows you to impress your friends by knowing all of the Las Vegas odds on the Super Bowl, including all of the crazy bets. Everyone knows who's favored to win the game, but not everyone knows you can wager on the color of Gatorade that will soak the winning coach.
The Bleacher Report's Team Stream. It's downloaded about 13 million times each month. It's the most-used sports app among young men.Get the latest Super Bowl news, photos, rankings, lists and more on Bleacher Report.
Super Bowl Trivia. If the game's a blowout and the commercials are a boring you can still keep entertained during the game with the Super Bowl Trivia apps for Android and iOS devices. With 50 Super Bowl games already in the books, you'll have plenty of material to create dozens of trivia questions.
